P and M made their Valentine’s today. I think they turned out pretty cute and the boys are certainly excited about them.
Here’s what we did.
First, I downloaded the printable and printed it onto card stock.
Then, I let the boys decorate with some heart stamps, stickers and markers.
I punched 2 holes in the middle of each jar.
I used some bakers twine that my mom sent me to tie the bug onto the card. Here are some of the finished products. We are doing a bunch, so we just decorated one sheet today. We will do a little each day since the boys have a short attention span with art projects.
Here are some others we have made in years past.
When P was 1, we used his thumb print with a washable red ink pad.
“Thumb”body loves you.
Last year, when P was 2, we made toilet paper roll heart prints with red paint.
