Potato Stamps

This Christmas, we did some potato stamping for the first time and I really liked how it turned out. Here are the Christmas tree stamps the boys and I used on our wrapping paper. I actually helped a lot on this one. I shouldn’t have!

My Aunt Julie gave us a tea towel that she made using fabric paint and potato stamps. Very cute!

The boys made heart stamps for their dad on Valentine’s day. Here’s how we did it.

After cutting the potato in half, I used a cookie cutter to make the shape and pressed it down as far as I could.

Then, I cut the edge right up to the edge of the cookie cutter.

P painted the potato and then stamped it on the paper.

Here is one we did while learning about squares. I drew a large square on the paper and had P stamp around the shape.
