M is still struggling with reflux. He has medication that works wonders, but we would like to drop the meds as soon as he is comfortable without it. When we first visited with the GI, she told us that small bites mean the food is easier to digest and that lessens the reflux.
I can’t remember where I got this suggestion, but kitchen shears have become my best friend during meal prep! My husband makes fun of me because it really only saves me seconds in prepping M’s meal, but after cutting everything into smaller pieces, the little bit helps. Meat, vegetables, sandwiches, anything I can cut, I cut!
